Al Gore's climate fund has replaced Vargus as the majority shareholder in Stegra.
The green steel startup is currently scrambling to secure the long-term future of its plant in Boden.
"We are working with both the investor side, the lender side and other tools that include possible outsourcing and strategic options," spokesperson Karin Hallstan told Impact Loop.
