Asterion Ventures rallies family offices for climate tech: 'This asset class will outperform the market'

French VC firm Asterion Ventures is building a European network of family offices to back climate tech startups.

The firm recently brought together more than 20 families for a 'learning expedition' in Paris.

"We need to create more appetite for taking risk and to say 'okay, let's do this together'," Stéphane Bourbier, founding partner at Asterion, tells Impact Loop in Paris.

At Climate House in Paris, Asterion Ventures has just finished hosting more than 20 European family offices for what the firm is calling a "learning expedition" event.

The goal is to convince European families that climate tech belongs at the centre of their investment strategy.
