Belgian pre-seed investor Biotope has broadened its investment thesis to “biotech for planetary health,” and is aiming for a second close on its €9m micro fund before the end of the year.
"For us, planetary health is so much more than just better food, or a more sustainable way of producing it. It's also about more sustainable production within industry," Annick Verween, Head of Biotope by VIB, tells Impact Loop.
