Silicon Valley battery firm snaps up Northvolt's Polish plant

Silicon Valley battery producer Lyten has acquired Swedish Northvolt's battery factory in Gdansk, Poland. Lyten, which specializes in lithium-sulfur batteries, plans to immediately restart production.
Who will buy Swedish battery firm Northvolt? It's a question on many people's lips since the company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
As Impact Loop revealed in April, mobility heavyweight Scania has already snapped up one piece of the puzzle – the industrial division of Northvolt Systems, one of its daughter companies.
