European climate tech startups raised $7.1bn in the first half of 2026, up 65% on the same period last year, per Dealroom data.

The rebound builds on the modest Q1 recovery we first reported in April. However, after then, the second quarter doubled it, with June alone delivering $3.3bn thanks to three mega-rounds.
