Drev bags €2.7m to tackle toxic dust in battery factories: 'We have to solve this problem'

A startup that scrubs the air in battery gigafactories of dangerous – but valuable 'black dust' – has secured fresh funding to fuel the roll out its technology across Europe and North America.
Swedish startup Drev has raised fresh funding to scale its technology which intercepts metallic dust generated in battery gigafactories and captures it for reuse.
Founder Arelys Sosa came up with the idea while working at Panasonic’s battery facility in Nevada, US. After moving to Sweden, she realised that local factories faced the same issue.
