Eatable Adventures bullish on Italian agrifood tech as it eyes first close of $50m fund

A Madrid-headquartered agrifood tech accelerator is raising a second fund dedicated entirely to Italian startups.

Eatable Adventures is targeting a €50m hard cap and expects a first close before the end of the year, drawn largely from Italian LPs.

"Italy is rapidly speeding up investment in agrifood tech right now," founder and CEO José Luis Cabañero tells Impact Loop. "We're seeing a large number of co-investors there, traditional VCs, institutions, corporations, family offices."
