Now Mettler is joining the board of Proxima Fusion, as the startup pushes to build Europe's first commercial fuson energy machine.

Ann Mettler, former vice president for Europe at Breakthrough Energy, has joined the industrial board of Munich-based fusion startup Proxima Fusion.
Mettler, who now runs Catalyse Europe and sits on the board of the European Innovation Council, is candid about what drew her in.
