Exclusive: Vireo Ventures bets on stealth startup building ‘AI agents’ for solar energy

A Munich startup founded just three months ago says it already manages 1.8 GW of solar capacity thanks to high demand for its AI agents.
Now, Invertix has emerged from stealth with its first equity funding, led by Vireo Ventures.
"Europe is commissioning solar, wind, and storage faster than it can hire and train the engineers needed to operate them," Joseph Perrotta, the company’s co-founder and CEO, tells Impact Loop.

Vireo Ventures has led a pre-seed round in Invertix, a Munich-based startup building autonomous AI agents for renewable energy operators, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and a syndicate of energy and AI angel investors.
The company says it already manages more than 1.8 GW of solar capacity through its AI platform and is working on commercial opportunities representing more than 10 gigawatts.
