Nordic firm backing Gen Z founders 'very bullish' on impact as it closes €10m fund

Wave Ventures has closed its third fund at €10m.

The firm’s conviction on impact has grown of late, partly due to the rise of cost-effective solutions and AI tools.

"The best impact founders today are AI-native by default," Johannes Korpela tells Impact Loop.

A Finland-based venture capital firm run entirely by investors under 25 is "very bullish" on impact startups, its managing partner said following the close of its third fund at €10m today.

"If anything our conviction has grown," Johannes Korpela tells Impact Loop. "Climate and impact remain central to what we back."
