Venture veteran snaps up other funds in bid to raise €1bn for impact

French VC veteran Marie Ekeland is taking over other firms' funds to grow her evergreen impact firm, 2050.

Following its latest acquisition, announced this month, the firm now manages €250m. The grand target is €1bn.

"In my experience with the venture capital fund model, it's very difficult to fully align," Ekeland tells Impact Loop.
