Italian startup pulling critical metals from wastewater in talks to raise €30m

Italian startup Circular Materials, which pulls metals out of industrial wastewater, is closing in on a substantial capital raise to fund its first large-scale facility.

"As we speak there's hundreds of tonnes of metal going to waste. The more we wait, the more we lose. So we want to close this round fast and get the plant running," CEO Marco Bersani tells Impact Loop.
