Exited founder leads €20m investment in e-methane startup: 'The next frontier is molecules'

Turn2X, a German startup that makes natural gas from wind, sun, and CO2, has closed a €20m Series A.

The round was led by Antwerpen Ventures, the investment vehicle of Florian Antwerpen, who sold battery developer Kyon Energy to TotalEnergies in 2024.

"My past work was about electrons. I'm now convinced the next frontier is molecules," said Antwerpen.
