Norrsken Launcher has closed its second fund at €80m, Impact Loop can reveal.

The plan now is to find new European impact startups with a market-first mindset.

"You have to be willing to meet the customer earlier in the process," Anna Fredrixon, partner at Norrsken Launcher, tells Impact Loop.

Norrsken was founded by Klarna co-founder Niklas Adalberth and today encompasses several different investment tracks focused on impact. One of those is Norrsken Launcher, which differs from the traditional VC model. Rather than spreading capital across a large number of companies, Launcher takes a hands-on operational role in a small number of them, with the aim of helping researchers and engineers bring their innovations to market.

Launcher is now closing its second fund at €80m. The fund was oversubscribed and closed within a few months during the spring, the company told Impact Loop.
