'Science for impact' VC secures anchor for new £70m fund

Zinc has landed a cornerstone commitment of up to £46m from the British Business Bank as it looks to raise a £70m second fund.

The London-based venture builder and early-stage fund helps turn mid-career scientists and engineers into successful impact entrepreneurs.

"There is all this great talent sitting in universities or in commercial entities, itching to start something," partner Ella Goldner tells Impact Loop.
