Restorative, life-giving, regenerative, circular – you could call it by many names. What’s clear is that "regenerative entrepreneurship" – businesses and projects that don’t just reduce pressure on the planet, but actively restore it – is becoming increasingly important.
Until now, though, the sector has mostly flown under the radar of venture capital, at least compared with “hot” areas like AI or defence.
