Pinc, the investment arm of food giant Paulig, has invested in the British company Elaniti – an agtech firm that uses AI to optimise soil health. The technology can increase yields and reduce the need for synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.

”A puzzle piece that no one else has taken on," Rosemari Herrero, Pinc investor, tells Impact Loop.

Maintaining stable crop yields while reducing the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides is one of the major challenges facing agriculture.
