Future Impact Ventures has landed a cornerstone commitment from the British Business Bank as it looks to raise its first £20m fund.

The new venture firm will invest in impact-focused startups, with a strong focus on creating better jobs and economic opportunities, not just cutting emissions.

A new impact fund from the UK has secured its first institutional backer.

Future Impact Ventures, founded by the team behind Startup Discovery School, has landed a cornerstone commitment from the British Business Bank, the country’s largest LP.
