UK startups have been locked out of Europe's €4B deep tech fund – that could change this year

Since Brexit, UK startups have been unable to receive equity funding through the EIC's €4bn fund for deep tech. But that could be about to change.
The UK could gain access to the European Innovation Council's equity investment fund by the end of this year, the EU's commissioner for startups told the Financial Times on Tuesday.
The move that would open British startups to one of Europe's largest sources of deep-tech capital for the first time since Brexit.
