Volvo Group backs Dutch hydrofoil startup: 'Powerful catalyst for growth'

Swedish CPAC Systems, part of the Volvo Group, is making a strategic investment in Dutch hydrofoil startup Flying Fish to develop sustainable water mobility solutions.

Flying Fish, based in the Netherlands, focuses on creating integrated software and hardware systems for eco-friendly water transportation. Their innovations are designed to support efficient, shared, and zero-emission marine operations using hydrofoil technology and smart fleet management products.

Now, the company gets funding from CPAC Systems, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group. The sum is undisclosed. Flying Fish says the funding will enable further growth, research and development, and expansion into new markets.
