Well-funded nuclear startup picks second site in Sweden, but admits: 'Innovation here is harder than in the US'

Swedish small modular reactor (SMR) startup Blykalla wants to build up to eight lead-cooled reactors north of Stockholm, with more applications on the way. But its CEO admits the innovation climate is better across the Atlantic.

"In the US it takes months, in Sweden a few years," Jacob Stedman tells Impact Loop's sister publication Energy Loop in an exclusive interview.
