'Fund of funds' Aldea Ventures raises €50m to back AI and climate tech investors

Aldea Ventures, a Barcelona-based fund of funds, has launched its second fund to back early-stage VC managers in deep tech sectors, including AI, climate tech, and robotics.

The Spanish investment firm has announced the first close of its second fund, Aldea II, with €50m raised so far. The fund is targeting a total raise of €125m.
Aldea Ventures focuses on backing pre-seed and seed-stage investors in deep-tech sectors, including AI, next-gen computing, climate tech, health and bio, and robotics. The firm has already invested in 28 funds managed by 23 different VCs, participating in over 1,000 startup investments.
