Marc Rozendal takes the wheel at EIT Urban Mobility

Marc Rozendal now replaces Mika Rytkönen, who has been serving as interim CEO, as new CEO of the organisation.

According to a press release, Rozendal "brings substantial experience in both traditional transport and disruptive mobility startups". He previously served as UK managing director for ride-hailing firm Ola and as CEO of transportation technology startup Cab Guru.

In the Netherlands, he has worked with several major public transport operators including Transdev Nederland, Connexxion, and Dutch Railways.

"EIT Urban Mobility is a unique organisation, playing a key role in shaping the future of mobility across Europe. I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to this position and to work at the European scale to advance sustainable urban transport solutions," said Rozendal in a press statement.
